P2Pah WOW WOTLK Classic:One of the things we always wanted to accomplish through the world quests system
Ryan Shwayder: Then I'm not sure so. We're all gamers in WOTLK Gold our hearts We're gamers throughout the day. If something is released, it implies that we might change which type of game is playing that time, but it doesn't suggest that we should stop what doing to suddenly begin playing games. We are playing them nearly every single day. We're still gamers even though we develop games for a living.
Morgan Day: We've all had a lot of experience trying to figure out how to manage love for video games with having to keep a job, and other things. [laughs]What is one of the things that you're not sure hasn't received more attention than what's coming up in the Tomb of Sargeras update coming out on the launch date?
RS: I think one of the aspects we haven't explicitly mentioned is the idea of, in the case of Broken Shore itself, the idea of a dynamic environment that is a fluid inflow and flow of content of the Broken Shore.
One of the things we always wanted to accomplish through the world quests system, which we weren't able to do across the entire Broken Isles, but we were able to do it in a few spots, is to place the areas in which the world quests occur in be able to change the population, and change what is happening in that region at the time of this world quest. This is one of the things we've been able do with the Broken Shore, because it's not a level up zone which means that we don't need to be concerned about the changing of the population out , which makes it impossible to do the quests you are supposed to for.
With this in mind, we've tried to make it so that every time you log in, and every day that you login, and decide to go to Broken Shore or go to Broken Isles, you don't be aware of exactly what you're about to do. When you get there, you can evaluate the situation, and then decide what you'll do to bring an oath to fight the Legion today.
It's like with Legion that this effect is restricted within the Island, as opposed to something like Cataclysm where there were wide-ranging effects that affected the entirety of Azeroth. Does that seem to be more of an intentional choice? Do you think the effects from the Legion will be felt more broadly in Azeroth in the future?
A: One our principal philosophies that we have at Blizzard is to concentrate the fun. And as soon as you break out the various pieces of content out too much it can become a little overwhelming to players. We observed in the initial launch that there were invasions that occurred in many parts of Azeroth but we then decided partly for the fantasy, partially for the story, that the Legion was going to focus around the Broken Shore and its immediate surrounding areas, which is part of cheap WOW WOTLK Classic Gold the Broken Isles. It was partly because thought that the game lends itself very well for this.
